In a New York Minute, Part I

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I went on vacation to New York for a few days with some friends. It was my first time, and I fell in love with the city! Such a fast pace life! It is much like San Francisco for those of us on the West Coast, just thousands and thousands of more people. I was so overwhelmed when I saw the streets filled, I almost didn't want to leave my hotel room! Ha! We were complete tourists while we were there, but learned our way around the city and subway pretty well. Bonus: my feet and legs are now made of steel as a result of all the walking we did.

My pictures are not all related to personal style or fashion, I just wanted to share! These are all from my iPhone, I think it's time to buy a new camera. ;)

Broadway evening outfit. We saw The Phantom of the Opera, seriously amazing!
Hot pink top, TJ Maxx
Navy blue skirt, Old Navy
Thrifted brooch.

The city is oh-my-gosh breathtakingly beautiful from the top of the Empire State Building.

Grand Central visit. Tourists galore, us included.

More pictures to follow in a Part 2 post, probably tomorrow! Don't forget to check back :)
