Post Wedding

Hi friends! Now that my wedding is over, life is finally settling down a bit. I am relocated to Northern California from the Bay Area and have been keeping busy making our new house a home. It's funny, the one day that I spent 6 months planning was over I hear every bride say that, but now that I've experienced it for myself, I can relate 100%! All the time put in, the labor, and the many many people that helped put this day on, and bam! It's done. God bless wedding coordinators. And to my future children, we'll be hiring one for your weddings. Dustin and I honeymooned in New Orleans, and it was lovely. I came back saying, "y'all" and craving sweet tea more than ever before. Oh, the south. I fell in love with most everything except the humidity(!!).

Moving away from family has been bittersweet for me. I miss my loved ones, but am so happy to make a new home with my new husband. By the way, he's my FULL TIME photographer now! He's really excited. :)

This Sunday I wore one of my wedding colors, peach! I love a good sequined pencil skirt.
I can always count on finding a modest skirt or dress from H&M.
Dustin said the skirt reminded him of salmon. Whatever, he loves salmon!

If you haven't seen it, you can take a peek at my modest wedding dress over on Instgram.

I promise to blog more about my wedding (with pictures!) soon!

  1. He takes crooked pictures.

    That is all.

Besides that you look beautiful. And I miss you face.

  2. Congratulations on your wedding, Stefanie! I love this outfit to pieces. So classy, yet so girly and romantic :)

And I know--the wedding day is over SO quickly. When my sister got married in February after a six-month engagement, the day was over like THAT. Honestly, why do people get so stressed out over one twenty-four-hour period--which is actually only nine hours or so of actual work/event? Anyway...good to have you back, Stefanie!

    dance a real

  3. Congratulations, Stef! :) I know exactly what you mean. All those long hours, those late nights, the headaches, etc. for an 8-12 measly hours. It goes by so fast! That's why I am so thankful for all my wedding pics. I get to relive allllll the moments I missed/didn't see/forgot about. WOOHOO!

    More Modern Modesty
